Even using the rosy statistics provided by the industry, there are over 25 million rural residents who do not have access to state-of-the-art cell phone coverage and broadband internet.
Now, ask a satellite internet subscriber if s/he can download a YouTube video and send an email with a photo at the same time. The answer will probably be "NO", accompanied by either a chuckle or a growl, depending on what phase of Broadband Denial s/he's in.
